I have never never been there but 2Rs went a few times with their childcare...Decided to bring them over today for a outdoor walk...lots of greenery,fresh air & not to mention, perspiring!! Ended the trip with Ben & Jerry's Ice cream at Dempsey...

We are going to the Zoo!

It became sort of a routine that we visit the zoo at least once a year.. This year, Singapore welcome a pair of new addition, Kai Kai & Jai Jai, 2 super loveable pandas on loan from China. They reach Singapore on 06 Sept 2012 but won't be out for display till Dec 2012. But we still popped over to the Zoo for the feel & a look at their new home..

MOE has changed Teacher's Day from 1st Sept to the 1st Friday of Sept..This year,it falls on 07 Sept 2012...Wanted to prepare something special as it's Reiko last year with them,came across Cakepop on my friend's FB,ask for receipe & here I goes! Waiting for it to cool & harden

It's National Day today!!! Singapore's 47th birthday!! Brought the kids out to watch the movie Brave at Marina Sq before catching the fireworks live! All the kids enjoyed themselves tremendously!!

Advance National Celebration

The kids are all wearing red & white today as they are having celebration for National Day! This year is Singapore 47th Birthday!! It has been a long journey since we separated from Malaysia, but as a small tiny dot on the world map, we are growing strong... Hereby the kids would like to wish Singapore, Happy 47th Birthday!!!

Cold dinner for a hot day

Today has been a hot hot day...duno wat to packet or prepare for 2Rs for dinner... So decided to make cold cold mee mee (cold soba noodle)..it's the kids favourite & easy to prepare..but there's goes the last of my sauce...need to remind myself to buy when the next Hokkiado fair is here again..

Primary 1 journey

It's the time of the year...phase 2C balloting today for 94 schools this year. Lucky for me, being kaisu, did parent volunteer at Rivervale Primary to secure a place for Reiko under phase 2B. Cannot imagine myself sitting in the school hall awaiting balloting results.
Saw a lot of my friends posting in FB that their child got a place, so happy for them!

As our national day is approaching...Darling Reiko drew a lovely picture for Singapore.

Lazy sat

It has been a week whereby my decision making & tactics on replying is being tested to the ultimate..but anyway, have made the choice... Decided to have a lazy sat...prepare breakfast (Hotcakes with scrambled eggs for the kids), brewed herbal tea for the whole family & prepare dinner.. It just feel soo good when I see the whole family enjoing the meal...make me feel so worthwhile..spending the whole afternoon over the stove.. And catching up on my HK dramas!!!and just a blink of the eyes,a day is over...... Our dinner today!!

So happy today coz I bought a new pair of shades for 15cents!! Hahaha...not that it's really selling for that price..stuffs was going at 70% off..the shades cost me $10.15 but I have a $10 voucher so I only paid 15cents...happy happy me..

Tuesday Blue~~~

Today is a blue blue Tuesday...although I knew of the news earlier but when official announcement came out today on company's intranet, there a sad feeling....these colleagues that I have work with for the past 3 yrs are being ask to go. Although this is not the 1st time the company retrench but this time it's a whole finance team I talking about..it just show how ruthless a company can be..

Cleaning up Sunday

Was not feeling up to the weather when I woke up...having a terrible headache..
But I still proceed to prepare french toast with hotdogs for breakfast..
After brekkie, popped 2 painkillers & intend to rest..but as the effect of the painkillers set in, suddenly have the urge to clean up my kitchen cupboards..and I meant all!!

Spend the whole afternoon cleaning up all the cupboards..found tons of treasures & threw out 3 giant bags of stuffs...and clear out some preloved/new babies items to let go...and I'm so happy happy..

Stupid ME!!

So pissed at myself...was trying to make a blog post using my phone..end up think my fingers were too fast...accidentally deleted my blog of yesterday...was thinking should i report...But,but,but.....it just seems no meaning to me....haiz...Stupid Me..

LOng overdue trip to HK!!!

We always wanted to bring the kids to Hong Kong..coz of Disneyland & the shopping & eating...
Finally found the chance in June & we made a group trip with 4 other families...total 19 of us!! (Wow..huge group!!)

But it was fullfilling...we went for 5days 4nights...and the kids totally enjoyed themselves...

8yr Wedding Anniversary

Spider web soooo thick liao.....been ages since I last blog..bz with work,kids & family... So fast...just pass 20th July 2012- 13yrs since I got together with Darling... Today is 18th June 2012- Our 8yrs wedding anniversary!! Truthfully,it has not been a easy time maintaining this marriage...there are times when things got sooo heated up than I sort of regretting getting married...seeing my frens enjoying life,with the freedom to travel & doing things they liked...But looking at my 2Rs,I never regretted having them...they are my joy,my reasons to work harder as I want to afford better things,better life for them... Money is never enough....but I always believe in living in our own means,that is never lending from people....I dun own a single LV,Gucci,Chanel etc...most expensive items are,my Longchamp & Agnes b bags...but do I feel upset?? No! Coz I rather spend my money on the kids or small items for Darling...seeing them happy just made my day! Happy 8yrs Anniversay Darling!!

Finally Cars 2 is here!!

Do you or your kids loved Cars?? Well, I do..so does my 2Rs..
The disc has been repeated countless of time till my 2Rs can tell me the story...
They just soo love Lighting McQueen!! And not forgetting Guido!! With the super fast speed changing of tyres!!
And with Cars 2, there are even more characters!! Airplanes! Boats! Trains!

I just can't wait for the Cars 2 to be on the big screen! Enjoying the happy laughter with my 2 kids!
