was abit disappointed coz I had ordered the cake in the form of '2' but tat stupid china gal who confirm she wrote on the paper is correct when i saw her drawing a rectangle...when i collect the cake i dun see a '2' but a rectangle cake..too late for changes etc coz it's a big cake...anyway,also more easy to cut...

The Union of Rick & Christina

Went for a wedding lunch of my cousin,Christina...Held at Grand Copthorne Waterrfront Hotel on 27th January 2008...And this is the 1st time my 2 Rs will see my extended family members..we seldom get to meet up unless is someone wedding..hehe

Preparation for Reiko's 2nd Birthday

Went concourse on Tue to buy all the stuffs for the goodies bags for Reiko's childcare,this time round 80bags to be done(check with the new Principal- Ms Sue)...Finally found time & energy to pack them today...Now wat's left to be done is to collect the cake on Wed(30th Jan 2008) and bring everything to Reiko's childcare centre at about 10am....

Cardigan

Been hunting for 1 for Reiko for ages..but couldn't find 1 I like....recently found a Gymboree wan in one of the BP in 1 of the forum I freq..but Jennifer called me to inform her sis selling the exact same thing at a cheaper price but too bad got no more of the size I wanted,but advise me to get the seller to reduce her price..End up I did ask the seller to reduce but I drop the order coz I was thinking of getting from Fox as I have 10% discount..but nothing caught my fancy there too..Haiz..

After dinner,brought 2 Rs down for a walk..notice there was a stall selling kids fashion at the space infront of POSB atms..went to have a look & the seller carry quite a few cardigans...with 2 of them being Gymboree brand but not the piece tat caught my eye in the BP..but in the end,got a 2 piece set from her for only $28....Finally Reiko have a new cardigan to wear for this sunday wedding of my cousin(Christina & Rick)...LOL

Trying to teach Reiko to take photos using either my hp or camera & also trying to teach her how to pose...but end up,she's more interested in taking photos..

Adorable Prince

Think Regan has recover more or less liao..but mummy sms me today & told me he's not drinking his milk well..I was soo puzzled,when i feed him at night he was ok..but when I'm at work he started giving attitude..could not be tat his throat only pain in the day mah..so it should be tat he have started to recongised ppl,so when he didn't see me,he rather dun drink..no matter how mummy force him,he only scream & cry..so end up,mummy need to use my pj to trick him(coz got my smell mah.. :P)

So today after his bath etc..I keep repeating to him tat mummy need to work,if not where got $$ to buy clothes,shoes & toys for boyboy..so mummy work than ah ma love mah,than ah ma feed milk milk boy boy must drink...mummy love you lot lot...Hope this method will help..coz i believe babies do understand wat we are telling them..hehe..

Reiko's Toes updates

Have started to apply a oilment tat Darren recommended me for ezcema..EGODERM...coz the cream tat the doc gave contains steriod so not so good for prolonged usage..Started on sat night & has been applying everyday,twice a day-morning & night...And also got Reiko to wear socks in childcare to protect her feets(either from the tiles or anything to be exact)..I really see a big improvement...so anyone out there who have itching skin etc..can try this cream..comes in 2 diff type...1 is cream(of which relieve the skin) & the other,the wan i got is oilment(relieve & protect the skin)..a small tube cost roughly $4++ while a big wan cost $9++

Prince Regan

Has my previous posts,Regan was sick..Had a really bad 2 nights,slept awhilr than burst out crying,I was practically not sleeping...each feed was like 50-90ml max...depends on his mood...

Finally,he drank 130ml!!made 170ml for him as he was crying for milk at 10pm++,didn;t drank any after his bath...and left only abt 40ml..was soooo happy with his progress..

Thaipusam

Today was late for work as need to get my prince to drink milk than change my princess etc..remember it's the 15th day in lunar calender so mummy taking vegetatian & moreover Regan have not fully recover so mummy will try not to bring him down,so I went to foodcourt to packet for mummy a packet of vegetation bee hoon so she no need to go hungry...Reach MRT(Sengkang) & it was already 8.10am coz on the way there,the LRT stopped in the middle of the track for quite some time..haiz..already running late & still jam...

Reach Plaza Sing & my partner sms me tat the Thaipusam procession is in front of our office,so while walking to office,was also enjoying myself looking at them..even manage to get some pics..

Really salute all the people involve,carrying the kavadis etc..they all look sooo heavy..but wat you promise to god than wat you must return..AND I truly believe in tat..

My sick sick Prince Regan

My precious boy is sick...think his throat hurts alot...he seems to be hungry & wan to drink milk but after 1-2 sucks he will brust out crying non stop...cancel all our plans for today(going to chinatown & my godparents home) end up,my auntiemummy call up & say they are coming to my place to see their 2 grandchildren...
Heng they came up,I have extra hands to help to handle Reiko while I coax & pacify Regan..Darling went out to buy curry fish head for our dinner & auntiemummy got a Xiao Chang Jin dress for Reiko as CNY clothes...she wanted to get a traditional wear for Regan too but mummy told her I wanted those romper kind for Regan & the shop downstairs doesn't have it..

Regan is DOWN!!

Haiz..After Reiko had recovered,still thought tat I can bring both Rs to Chinatown today to walk around the CNY pasar malam & to get their new year clothes..but who know better than heaven..Yesterday late afternoon,Regan came down with fever..at 1st was around 37.7degree than as the night progress,it hit up to 38.1degree..gave him some panadol tat I have got from the doc as the last visit for jab...Didn't have a good night rest too..Regan keep waking up crying,dunno is nightmare or he dun feel good...woke up at 1am,than 2.45am,than 3am of which i gave him some water than he doze till 4.45am & woke up crying again & than slept back till 6.45am...thought he wanted his milk at this time,but when i gave him milk..he tried sucking a few times than brust out crying non stop...OH DEAR...Dun tell me he have gotten Reiko's virus...he's soo young,if dun wan drink milk I dun know how...than I gave him some panadol again at 7am & than try milk again but he continue screaming..now even water also reject....Finally bo bian,stringe him 50ml at 8am...
After Darling woke up,we brought Regan to Northeast Clinic coz his PD is off today..Inform doc wat Reiko had previous & Regan's reaction today...he check Regan's throat but couldn't find any ulcers but told me tat it look red..ask me to give more water...than also need to put Regan on antiobotics just in case...told me need afew days for the throat inflammation to go away..
Haiz..Reach home & gave Regan his medicine & try to coax him to take some milk..he rather just leave the teat in his mouth & dun wan to suck..I even make the milk to room temperature & dulite it so tat it won't hurt him so much...after abt 5mins,finally he started sucking..I was sooo HAPPY...keep telling him it's ok not to finish,at least drink abit so tat there's something in tummy...make abt 180ml in 5 scoops(usually is 170ml)..He left 80ml back..so at least he drank 100ml..now sleeping...
Haiz..did I fail as a mum..1st is big R than is small R..sometimes i really feel so helpless...
Just hope tat Regan will recover soon...

Thanks all frens & relatives for their care & concern on Reiko's toes...They are alot better compare to the week before...Now applying the medicate cream for her only twice a day,down from 3 times a day liao..

Giant golf ball size pineapple tarts

Today went back to work as my partner is on leave,so mummy is left with the 3 naughties...Heng Reiko fever MIA liao..so only slighty cranky & didn't allow me to leave for work in the morning but after tat grandma say she's ok...even finish her porriage for lunch & dinner & also finish 2 bottles of 200ml milk in the whole day...

Also went to the back to change new notes for ourselves,mummy & Darling's fren Ah Guan..Went back to the POSB next to our HQ,there was no Q at all & no per person limit..so I change a total of 3k consists of both $2 & $10...Yesterday still saw the POSB at Compass Point having super long Q & OCBC out of new notes for the day at 11am...

Today one of our link up agents send some pineapple tarts from Le cafe for my manager.They are as big as a golf ball!!When we call up the cafe to check the price,it come up to about 80cents per pieces & the max they have is only 20pcs in 1 container.Although they are big,you dun feel sick eating them coz they are not too sweet & neither is the butter taste beri strong..Brought home 10pcs for Mummy,Darling & Reiko as the agent send a total of 6 containers of 20pcs & 6 boxes of 10pcs for the whole office...but mummy say she dun fancy these & Darling is working OT tonight while Reiko is more interested in the brownies I brought for her...hehe

Reiko New Year Shoes

Since Reiko fever MIA liao...brought her to Compass Point to get her CNY shoes..went bata & got her a pair & it's only $19.95 & I can get linkpoints...than proceed to Kiddy Palace,wanted to get another pair of a softer material,but nothing caught Reiko's eyes,every pair tat I let her try she will go.. "Not Nice" & than proceed to remove them..Naughty gal..more interested in the Barney VCD in Kiddy Palace...

Today decided to extend my leave for another day & accompany Reiko...Woke up today & her fever seems to subside...measure her & it was only 37.2degree & finally Reiko can finish her bottle of 120ml of milk..so happy...and her toes seems to be better too..


Deciding whether to send Reiko to CC tomoro anot..as I need to get back to work as my partner is on leave & also I need to change
new notes for Darling's fren...

Updates on Reiko

Today morning brought Reiko to her PD....Left home at about 8.30am coz her PD got no appointments for those normal sickness(appointments are for jabs or reviews)..Reach clinic at about 5mins later & we was 2nd in queue at the door..the nurses open the door at 8.45am for us to do registration...Reiko weighted at 12kg today...Althought we are the 2nd in queue,newborns have a priority...Moreover today Dr Lillian Lim came in late(she actually had to see those newborns at the hospitals before coming here)...we only managed to see her around 10am++..
She found some ulcers at the back of Reiko's throat & tat may be the cause of her fever & also the reasons tat Reiko is not taking her milk as per normal....Reiko had to be on antibotics again as there are ulcers...as for her toes,Dr Lim suspect it may be ezcema...but for now,only continue the PP wash than cream again..Lefyt the clinic close to 11am...
Wa..we spend close to 3 & a half hr...And now I'm starting to feel sick...with a headache...

Sick Sick Reiko...

Reiko is DOWN AGAIN!!

Dunno wat happen...Reiko came down with high fever of around 38.3degree again suddenly last night....was ok when I put her to bed,at about 11pm,she suddenly woke up crying & when i carry her she felt warm..measure her temperature & it was 38.1degree...Immediatly gave her panadol & lots of water & than coax her back to sleep....
Was actually intending to bring her back to her PD on Wed coz her toes infections came back again..haiz now with fever again..but today her PD is off,so will go to her tomoro...So..

~~Shopping Trip~~

It has been ages since I last got some heels for myself...all my previous heels died on me,with the metal nail at the bottom of the heels showing & it's not econmical to change them..Now after Regan has popped,FINALLY it's time for me to get new heels liao...Went Charles & Keith but didn't see anything to my fancy coz all the bottoms of the heels doesn't come with friction...

As I need to drop by my HQ to collect my employment letter for Reiko's CC,decided to drop in at URS @ Bugis Junction..they are having a up to 50% sale...and the heels all have good friction!!End up I left the shop with 4 pairs of heels & after all discounts,it costs me $116..so happy & I can apply for VIP card liao.. *wink*

But if I had the UOB credit card than there will be another 10% on top of the price but I haven submit my application for the card..hmm..need to do so asap liao...

Also got a pair of sunglasses from Charles & Keith..before my VIP discount it was $18...coz nowadays the walk to & from office to MRT is too glaring(I meant the sun!)

My Little Princess

Recently got a dress & a skirt from one of the BP seller tat i knew..
It arrived in the mail today...The dress was REALLY LOVELY...Little Reiko really become PRINCESS REIKO... :)

Now already counting down to Reiko's 2nd birthday on 30th Jan!!


This time round we are celebrating at her childcare with her friends!!!Cake ordered,inform auntiemummy tat I wanted some apples for her childcare(thinking whether wan to include some other fruits) & now left with the shopping for the goodies bags items & packing them..
Grandma got a dress for princess to wear on her bdae..I also got a dress for her..hehe...
